The True North Concepts STRIX-9 Riser is the compact, purpose-built sibling of the STRIX-16 optic riser, made for shooters who want a clean optic mount without adding length to the rifle setup. Built in the United States for carbine, duty rifle, and minimalist competition use, this optic riser gives a steady, repeatable platform for a red dot sight, holographic sight, prism optic, or lightweight magnifier. The riser is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat anodize, so it handles recoil, weather, and hard handling without wearing through.

At a 9-slot Picatinny rail, the STRIX-9 optic riser mirrors standard AR upper receiver slot spacing in a shorter, low profile footprint, keeping the cantilever section over your handguard short and predictable. The integrated recoil lug drops into a recoil slot on your upper rail to anchor the riser and hold zero through repeated rounds, supporting real time target acquisition shot after shot.

The STRIX-9 sits at a reversible 0.625" riser height, putting your optic on the optical centerline for proper alignment and faster target acquisition. Steel Picatinny clamps lock the riser to the rail of an AR upper receiver or similar Picatinny rail, and the reversible design lets you flip the unit so the recoil lug seats in the opposite direction depending on your preferred setup. Available in Black and Earth Brown, this optic riser works with a red dot, holographic sight, magnifier, or compact prism, and clears most night vision device and gas mask configurations.
